Brooklyn Crafted, Brooklyn, N.Y., unveiled a rebranded label for its craft ginger beer and ginger ale collection. With a nod to the brand’s Brooklyn roots, the new logo features a clean, modern image of the New York City skyline.
Although carbonated soft drinks (CSDs) still is among the top performing beverage categories, more than a decade of volume declines has challenged the established category as it competes with better-for-you beverages and premium products.
Carbonated soft drinks (CSDs) have long been the top seller in the U.S. beverage market based on volume. Last month, however, New York-based Beverage Marketing Corporation (BMC) announced that U.S. volume sales of bottled water eclipsed CSDs in 2016, making it the No. 1 consumed packaged beverage. This shift followed more than a decade’s worth of single-digit volume declines for soft drinks.

Redd’s, a brand Chicago-based MillerCoors, the U.S. joint venture between SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Co., unveiled its new Limited Pick, a series of special-release ales that will be available for a limited time.
Just in time for the holiday season, Schweppes, a brand of Plano, Texas-based Dr Pepper Snapple Group, announced it is releasing Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale. Tapping into an increasing demand for stronger flavors, Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale offers a bolder, darker and richer flavor experience while maintaining the traditional, refreshing ginger ale taste, the company says.
