Columbus Wine and Spirits is introducing its line of Bodegas Mocen wines to the U.S. market. The line features Verdejo, Oak Aged Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc and Sparkling Verdejo. The estate-grown wines from the heart of Rueda, Spain are produced from free-run juice, the company says. Grown on a rain scarce, high plateau these wines are medium in body with a touch of fruit balanced with crisp acidity, it adds. The sparkling wine is fermented in the bottle and will be available nationwide in January for a suggested retail price of $14.99 for a 750-ml bottle.
