Daily’s Cocktails voted best new product for April

Brand garners landslide 79 percent of votes

As the summer approaches, it looks as though people are getting ready to relax in the sun with a cold cocktail. In Beverage Industry’s April New Products poll, readers voted Daily’s Cocktails as, by far, the top new product release on www.bevindustry.com throughout the month.


Daily’s Cocktails, a brand of American Beverage Corp., released a new line of fruit-flavored carbonated alcohol beverages available in four fruity varieties — Cherry Cola, Raspberry Ginger Ale, Lemon Lime and Blood Orange. The alcohol sodas are 5 percent alcohol by volume and are available in 12-ounce slim cans in the Southeast for a suggested retail price of $1.99 a can.


Visitors also favored Blue Moon’s White IPA tied for second place with Hydrive Energy Water Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry lemonade with 6 percent of votes. Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter IPA, Nooner Pilsner and Hoppy Lager grabbed 4 percent of the vote, leaving it in third place.


Bigelow Thin Mints and Caramel and Coconut teas, Country Time Lemonade Starters, and 2015 Stone Old Gaurdian Barley Wine and 2015 Stone Old Guardian Barly Wine – Extra Hoppy each earned 2 percent of the vote.


Voting for the poll took place between May 4 to 15 on www.bevindustry.com. Check back June 1 on www.bevindustry.com to vote for the next round of contestants, and thanks for voting!
