Taking liquid concentrates into the alcohol segment, Seismix LLC introduced ZMix instant cocktail mixes. Available in Lemon Drop, Purple Hooter and Cosmo varieties, the liquid concentrates are sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium, resulting in zero calories. The idea behind the product was to create a simple, easy-to-use cocktail mixer that tasted great without adding calories to the drink, explains President Augustine Gattuso. ZMix is specially formulated to blend with 1-2 ounces of distilled spirits, he notes. A 1.62-ounce bottle holds approximately 24 servings and has a suggested retail price of $4.99.
