Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Chico, Calif., is launching its second seasonal 12-pack of the year: the Fall Pack. This seasonal sampler, which is scheduled to be shipped to distributors this week, includes two new craft beers, a returning favorite, and Sierra Nevada’s stalwart Pale Ale, the company says.

In particular, the 12-pack includes three bottles of each of the following beers:

• The new Oktoberfest: a German-style festival beer offering a blend of toffee-like malt flavors balanced by crisp and floral hops.
• The new Vienna Lager: a lager featuring notes of semi-sweet, bready malt and a floral and peppery kick from whole-cone European hops.
• The returning Tumbler brown ale: Back by popular demand, this ale offers a full roasted malt flavor and is layered with notes of chocolate, toasted bread and a hint of smoke.
• Pale Ale: This company stalwart offers piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops. It also is all natural and bottle conditioned.

“Fall is a tricky season for beer,” said Ken Grossman, Sierra Nevada’s founder, in a statement. “The temperature can swing from hot to cold quickly, which makes it tough to pick the right beer for the right occasion. Beer has such an incredible range of flavor, and we wanted to showcase several different styles so that no matter what the weather does, you’ll always have a great choice on hand.”
