Boston-based Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin’, Canton, Mass., are at it again, launching a series of new coffee- and doughnut-infused beers for fall. A trio of new beers, Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale, Boston Kreme Stout, and Jelly Donut IPA, join Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter on shelves this September and mark the first time beers have been brewed with actual doughnuts from Dunkin’, the companies say.
The brewers at Samuel Adams, a brand of Boston-based The Boston Beer Co., plan to spice up the winter season with a new, brighter and smoother Cold Snap recipe, it says. The new Cold Snap showcases the brew’s signature blend of 10 exotic spices, fruits and florals: orange zest, vanilla, lemon zest, coriander, rose hips, hibiscus, plum, grains of paradise, anise and tamarind, the company adds.
The brewers at Samuel Adams are exclusively bringing back some classics for the craft beer brand’s Winter Variety Pack including Holiday Porter, Chocolate Bock and Old Fezziwig.
Glendale, Calif.-based IHOP announced the release of IHOPS Pumpkin Pancake Stout, a limited-edition, fall-inspired craft beer brewed by Kingston, N.Y.-based Keegan Ales. The ale pairs the flavor of pumpkin and seasonal spices with IHOP’s buttermilk pancakes, for a smooth, rich stout, the company says.
In time for fall, Stone Brewing Co., Escondido, Calif., introduced a new, citrus-rich, chocolaty iteration of its year-round Stone Smoked Porter. Stone Smoked Porter w/Chocolate & Orange Peel currently is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft at retailers, bars and restaurants in select markets nationwide.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Chico, Calif., is launching its second seasonal 12-pack of the year: the Fall Pack. This seasonal sampler, which is scheduled to be shipped to distributors this week, includes two new craft beers, a returning favorite, and Sierra Nevada’s stalwart Pale Ale, the company says.
