Vermont Hard Cider Co. LLC added a new hard cider to its Woodchuck Hard Cider Cellar Series. With 6.9 percent alcohol by volume, Cellar Series Ginger is made with fresh, organic ginger root, which is hand cut at its cidery and immediately infused into the fermented cider using Woodchuck’s custom infusion tank, the company explains. As a result, the beverage features notes of ginger with spicy citrus undertones that complement the sweet apple varieties in the cider, it adds. Woodchuck Hard Cider Cellar Series Ginger is available in 22-ounce bottles through the end of July.
