Jim Beam, a brand of Beam Suntory, announced the launch of its ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails in partnership with The Boston Beer Co.

The Wine Group (TWG), Livermore, Calif., and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Miami, announced that they have expanded their relationship to form a national strategic alignment. The new agreement includes a portfolio expansion in the open markets of the District of Columbia, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas, as well as the brokerage markets of Maine, Mississippi, and New Hampshire. The Wine Group will begin the transition of its portfolio to these markets beginning April 1, with Southern Glazer’s exclusive responsibility taking effect May 1.

Tequila and mezcal are the hot segments in the spirits category thanks to premium offerings, multicultural consumers and innovative cocktails featuring these agave-based spirits.

Stillhouse, a brand of Bacardi Limited, announced the launch of its newest variety: Peanut Butter S'mores Whiskey.

Despite economic concerns, spirits' dollar and volume sales lifted the category, led by ready-to-drink cocktails and tequila/mezcal.

Belvedere Vodka introduced its newest limited-edition offering: Belvedere Miami, a bottle inspired by the coastal lifestyle of Miami. Just in time for Miami Music Week, the bottle will be officially introduced at Ultra Music Festival this weekend.

Monaco Cocktails announced the expansion of its Hard Lemonade line with a new flavor: Strawberry. 

White Claw, a brand of The Mark Anthony Group of Companies, announced the launch of new White Claw Premium Vodka, a triple wave filtered vodka. The filtration process uses tremendous pressure equal to three 30-foot waves to create a vodka with distinctive taste, aroma, and smoothness, according to the company.  

To celebrate the spring equinox, Astral Tequila announced the release of two new offerings: Astral Tequila Reposado and Astral Tequila Añejo. 

With a smooth and delicate flavor thanks to a three-time distillation process, it has become “a favorite among consumers who are looking for a whiskey that is complex, yet approachable.”
