Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. and Uber Eats launched a joint program to benefit Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Through June 28, for every order placed via Uber Eats from a participating restaurant, Feeding America will receive a donation to provide one meal to a person in need, with the goal of providing up to 5 million meals.

In the wake of COVID-19 and stay at home orders, manufacturers have ramped up eCommerce to keep up with heightened demand for alcohol. Alcohol eCommerce retail sales have jumped exponentially, up 234 percent for the weeks ending March 7-April 18, Nielsen’s Danelle Kosmal says. The data also showed alcohol sales increased almost five-fold in just the latest two weeks.
