The Boston Beer Co. introduced Samuel Adams Harvest Collection, a new seasonal variety pack. The collection features six craft beers, including a new style, Samuel Adams Dunkelweizen. Dunkelweizen translates to “dark wheat” and is a traditional German ale brewed as a darker and stronger version of the Bavarian Weissbier from the 15th Century, the company says. The other craft beers in Samuel Adams Harvest Collection include Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Samuel Adams OctoberFest, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat, Samuel Adams Brown Ale and Samuel Adams Irish Red Ale. The variety pack retails between $13.99 and $15.99.
Pernod Ricard USA expanded its line of Kahlua offerings with the limited-edition Kahlua Coffee Cream Liqueur. The product is made with cream and Arabica coffee beans, shade-grown in the Veracruz region of Mexico. Kahlua Coffee Cream Liqueur is available through Dec. 31, and a 750-ml. bottle retails for $17.99.
Anheuser-Busch launched Select 55, a golden lager with 55 calories and 1.9-grams of carbohydrates per 12-ounce serving. Select 55 is made with a blend of imported and domestic caramel malts. The product is available in 12-ounce bottles, six-packs, 12-packs, and 12-ounce aluminum cans in 12- and 18-packs.
Cutting Edge Beverages released H2Organics Kids Nutrient Enhanced Water. H2Organics Kids Nutrient Enhanced Water is certified organic, low in calories, sugar and carbohydrates, and is fortified with calcium and vitamin C. H2Organics Kids Nutrient Enhanced Water is available in Grape Berry, Strawberry Apple and Orange Tangerine. A 6.75-ounce container retails between $3.29 and $3.69.
Naked Juice, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, added Mango and Double Berry to its Protein Zone line. Both flavors contain more than three servings of fruit and 30 grams of protein per bottle. Mango offers orange, mango and apple flavors, and Double Berry is a fusion of blueberries and strawberries. A 15.2-ounce bottle retails for $3.99.
Boowl Co. Americas LLC introduced Boowl Surprise Fruit Drink & Toy, a juice drink with a toy surprise hidden in the top of the package. The product contains 20 percent juice, five vitamins, minerals, and is low in sugar. Boowl is available in Fruit Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, Lemon Ice and Grape varieties. Boowl Surprise Fruit Drink & Toy is available in a counter-top tray or 36-bottle display shipper. The retail price is between $1.99 and $2.49.
Revolution added to its line of 3D products with 3D Pink Grapefruit. The product blends lycopene from pink grapefruit and white tea. A portion of all the sales from 3D Pink Grapefruit will support breast cancer charities. 3D Pink Grapefruit joins 3D Pomegranate, 3D Blueberry, 3D Mango and 3D Green Apple. A four-pack retails for $5.99.
Wave Energy Drink released a product with the same name. Wave Energy Drink offers less carbonation and lower levels of caffeine than typical energy drinks, the company says. The product also contains B vitamins, and a Sugar Free version is available as well. The 16-ounce cans are packaged in single-serve cans, four- and 24-packs. A can retails for $2.25.
Van Gogh Vodka introduced Triple Wheat Van Gogh Blue Vodka. The wheat is source from central France, southern Germany and The Netherlands. Triple Wheat Van Gogh Blue Vodka is triple distilled in the Royal Dirkzwager distillery in Schiedam, The Netherlands. The product is 40 percent alcohol by volume, and a 750-ml. bottle retails for $29.
Pacific Natural Foods added All Natural Hemp Milk to its line of shelf-stable non-dairy beverages. All Natural Hemp Milk offers 50 percent of the recommended daily allowance of calcium, 4 grams of fiber and 10 amino acids. The milks are lactose free, cholesterol free and gluten free. All Natural Hemp Milk is available in Original and Vanilla flavors. The company also added All Natural Hazelnut Chocolate Non-Dairy Beverage in 32-ounce and 8-ounce four packs. The drink contains calcium, vitamin D and riboflavin.
