Miami-based Friends Fun Wine and FIFCO USA, Rochester, N.Y., announced their intent to enter into a strategic marketing and distribution agreement. The partnership allows the Friends Fun Wine brand to expand across the U.S. market. Friends Fun Wine features a collection of Fun Wine drinks with a 5.5 percent alcohol by volume (ABV) and 71-94 calories in each 4.2-ounce serving, and a slight effervesce. 

Prestige Beverage Group, Mendota Heights, Minn., announced that its Risata Wine brand, Moscato d’Asti offering will be available in 187-ml single-serve bottles.

WX Brands, Novato, Calif., announced its purchase of the Reckless Love and Sunday Funday wine brands. Reckless Love and Sunday Funday wines join WX Brands' group of brands that include Bread & Butter, Chronic Cellars, Jamieson Ranch Vineyards, Jelly Jar and Our Daily Wines. 

R.S. Lipman Co. added the newest wine to its lineup: Saturday Night White Pinot Grigio. 

Sokol Blosser Winery released the newest edition of its wine collection: Bluebird Cuvée Sparkling Wine. 

For mature beverage categories, producing year-over-year growth can be a challenge. For the U.S. wine and spirits markets, sales growth has allowed these categories to increase not only its own yearly comparisons, but also gain market share from other beverage alcohol categories.

The labels depict the winery in bright pastel colors, which replaces the smaller, traditional black-and-white image that originally was featured on the bottles, it says.
