Los Angeles-based Icelandic Glacial announced a multifaceted sustainability initiative that includes plastic reduction and new packaging innovation. By 2021, Icelandic Glacial plans to use 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastic (rPET) in its PET packaging and offer its still and sparkling varieties in aluminum cans. The company also will introduce a new 3-liter packaging option for the refrigerator or counter along with a 20-liter packaging option for foodservice.
Blue Marble Cocktails has recently released nine different mixed drinks, including classics like the Mojito, Moscow Mule and Greyhound, which use ultra-premium distilled spirits, all-natural juices and handmade syrups.

Boxed Water Is Better, Holland, Mich., announced it will add a 330-ml size to its line of water packaged in 100 percent recyclable and paper-based cartons. The current product assortment is available in 250-ml, 500-ml and 1-liter boxes that are packed in six-pack, 12-pack and 24-pack configurations.
