Charter Oak Brewing Co. LLC released a Legendary Variety 12 Pack that allows craft beer drinkers to sample three Connecticut-brewed beers in one sample pack.
Highlighting its pre-Prohibition roots, R. Griesedieck Distilling Co. released Old Scenter White Dog, a 40 percent alcohol-by-volume, unaged corn whiskey.
Craft whiskey company will continue to operate independently

Constellation Brands Inc., Victor, N.Y., acquired a minority stake in Nashville, Tenn.-based Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery, a distillery that produces a variety of craft whiskeys. Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery will continue to operate independently to produce, market and sell its products.
Studebaker, a brand of Diageo North America, launched a new product line of bottled whisky cocktails: Studebaker Old Fashioned and Studebaker Manhattan.

New program aims to help craft distillers, brand owners

The Bardstown Bourbon Co., Bardstown, Ky., announced the creation of its Collaborative Whiskey, Bourbon and Rye Wholesale Distilling Program, which is slated to open this summer. The new program will offer wholesale customers the opportunity to create custom, authentic, Kentucky whiskey products, while also providing barrel financing, the company says. The program works to expand the growth of the craft distilling industry by providing craft distillers and brand owners high-quality whiskey to strengthen their supply, it adds.
This fall, Clyde May’s is launching a Special Reserve whiskey, the first line extension in the brand’s history, which will be available for sale in limited quantity.
