RC Cola is making a bold return to the spotlight with its first advertising campaign in 40 years, it shares.
The Chicago region has long been a stronghold for RC, with the cola remaining a staple at corner hot dog stands and pizza joints. The city also is home to a loyal and outspoken consumer base — what the company calls the “Loud and Prouds,” the company shares. These are people who know what they like and aren’t afraid to shout it, making the region the perfect launchpad for its new edgy ad campaign (the first since the 1980s) with the tagline: “Not a soft drink. Just damn good cola,” it adds.
Chicago locals will start seeing RC Cola everywhere:
