Manatee Coffee has expanded its organic collection with two new decaffeinated offerings: Eco Brew Organic Swiss Water Decaf and Coastal Reserve Organic Swiss Water Decaf. 

Crafted using a cleaner decaffeination process to mirror the flavor of their caffeinated counterparts, and the releases continue the brand’s mission to provide premium, sustainably sourced coffee, the company says.

Eco Brew Organic Swiss Water Decaf offers a balanced, medium roast experience with smooth notes of chocolate, toasted nut and a subtle hint of floral, the company notes. Meanwhile Coastal Reserve Organic Swiss Water Decaf is a bold, dark roast that brings together smoky plum, chocolate, and toasted nut for a deep, rich flavor that’s smooth, it says. Both are USDA Organic certified, low acidity, and crafted with Manatee Coffee’s signature smooth finish, it adds.

“Growing Manatee Coffee’s portfolio of organic roasts, aimed to make more sustainable options accessible, has been a goal for us for some time, so on the heels of our recent Eco Brew and Coastal Reserve launch, developing Swiss Water Decaf versions was a natural next step,” said Brad Gutwein, CEO of Manatee Coffee, in a statement. “Whether our customers are caffeine-free or just want coffee they can confidently enjoy at any time of day, they deserve a decaf that’s high quality and full circle, which to us means clean ingredients, sustainable practices, and giving back to protect manatees and preserve Florida’s coastal habitats.”

Manatee’s new decaf offerings are made using the Swiss Water Process, a 100% chemical-free method of decaffeination that uses only water, temperature, and time to gently remove caffeine while preserving the original character and flavor of the bean, the company says. The process begins by soaking green coffee beans in pure water to extract caffeine, followed by the use of green coffee extract (GCE), which removes caffeine while protecting the bean’s rich flavor compounds, it notes.
