Kona Coffee Co. announced a broadened lineup that now includes high-percentage Kona blends and rare single origin coffees.
Originally founded to celebrate the rare beauty of Kona coffee from Hawaii’s Big Island, the company has earned its reputation for offering some of the best Kona coffee available, it notes. Today, that mission continues — not just by staying rooted in the Kona District, but by branching out to explore bold new coffees from beyond, it says.
All green Hawaiian coffee beans are sourced directly from the Kona region; roasting takes place in California. By flying in green beans and roasting locally, the company eliminates the delays associated with ocean freight and slow transit from Hawaii, allowing customers across the United States to receive fresher, more flavorful coffee faster, it says.
The new offerings are the following:
51% Kona Blend (Coming Soon): A majority-Kona blend that delivers the signature profile of 100% Kona coffee, at a more accessible price.
Roaster’s Private Batch: Limited-edition, non-Kona single-origin coffee for the curious and adventurous palate.
These blends reflect Kona Coffee Co.’s belief that great coffee can come from many places — as long as it’s roasted with integrity, it says.
