Ahead of the annual National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) convention in Chicago, the makers of 5-hour ENERGY, Living Essentials LLC, unveiled three fruity flavors that will join the beverage lineup.

The 16-ounce beverage lineup, which consists of Berry, Watermelon and Grape flavors, will gain OrangeSicle, Pineapple Splash and Tropical Burst. OrangeSicle blends the taste of juicy, ripe oranges and creamy vanilla, while Pineapple Splash combines pineapple and coconut. Tropical Burst, a flavor that the company says is “already a fan favorite in the shot category,” tastes like tropical pineapple and apricot. With the same blend of vitamins, nutrients and 230 mg of caffeine, these 16-ounce carbonated beverages have the same properties consumers know from the 2-ounce shots.

“The reception for our new flavors has been fantastic,” said Charlie Cindric, vice president of beverage distribution at Living Essentials, in a statement. “Retailers are looking forward to the entire lineup being available throughout the country.”

5-hour ENERGY currently is distributed to independent convenience stores in 42 states via local direct store delivery (DSD) distributors. The company says the beverage team “has been working hard to expand their distribution network for the energy drink.” At the 2022 NBWA show in Chicago (Oct. 9- 12), attendees will have the opportunity to samples the newest flavors.
