Halyard Brewing Co. released a spicy new brew dubbed “The OQ,” short for the Octopus Queen. An extra spicy hard ginger beer, the Octopus Queen is brewed with Madagascar vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, fresh ginger, and other aromatic spices, the company says. Inspired by Halyard’s nautical roots and the fall flavors of Vermont, the Octopus Queen is packed with ginger heat and complexity, it adds. Each 12-ounce can of Octopus Queen has a 5.5% ABV, and is available to purchase in six-packs for a suggested retail price of $10.99 each.
