Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials unveiled an rPET content liner that not only reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainability, but also offers converters the first rPET liner in North America available for paper facestocks, the company says. The rPET liner is available on a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified semi-gloss paper facestock in the company’s ClearIntent portfolio. The ClearIntent portfolio is comprised of more than 500 sustainable products, according to the company. Key benefits of the sustainable rPET liner include recycled content and the ability to give a second life to what has already been used; it enables recycling of packaging that can be used repeatedly; and it is responsibly sourced by the FSC or film and paper made from renewable resources. The company plans to introduce more industry-leading sustainable label solutions down the road, it says.
