Los Angeles-based Icelandic Glacial announced that its sustainably sourced spring water has added thousands of doors in the convenience and grocery channels nationwide. This is in addition to its on-premise growth the company has seen in restaurants and hotels, it says.
The increased distribution has placed Icelandic Glacial onto the shelves of retailers such as Shaw's, Nugget Markets, ACME, Hy-Vee, Roundy's, Mariano's, Shop Rite, G&M Oil and other fine retailers. In addition, with the newly launched line of flavored sparkling water, Icelandic Glacial has increased its presence in accounts such as Publix, Dierbergs, Lowes Foods, and MAPCO.
"It has been another incredible year for Icelandic Glacial," said Icelandic Glacial's Chairman and Co-Founder Jon Olafsson in a statement. "We're thrilled to see the brand continue to experience high double-digit growth in the United States with the support of our retail and on-premise partners."
Reza Mirza, chief executive officer of Icelandic Glacial, added: "We get calls and emails every day from consumers asking us where they can buy Icelandic. It is exciting to rapidly grow our distribution across all channels to make our brand available to more consumers."
