John Dewar & Sons Ltd. unveiled a new range of bottlings from Royal Brackla distillery in Scotland. Combining high-grade barley, water from the Cawdor Burn and slow distillation, the regal malt is matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks, the company says. The Scotch whisky offers muscovado sweetness, dates and walnuts, it adds. Royal Brackla’s regal malt is available in three variants: Royal Brackla 12-year-old, Royal Brackla 16-year-old and Royal Brackla 21-year-old. Each variant is packaged in 750-ml bottles, which retail for $65, $130 and $225, respectively. Royal Brackla is available in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
