Rod & Rifle Red Merlot of Sangiovese features velvety tannins with lush fruit and offers aromas of black currant, blackberry and notes of toasted oak, followed by flavors of black cherry, ripe plum and herbs with a hint of spice on the finish, the company says. Rod & Rife Rose of Syrah offers notes of strawberry and cherry on the nose with flavors of watermelon leading to a dry, raspberry finish, while the Rod & Rifle White Chardonnay contains zesty lemon fruit flavors with hints of white peach, it adds.
