Svedka vodka, a brand of Victor, N.Y.-based Constellation Brands Inc., announced that Svedka Cucumber Lime will join its portfolio of Swedish import vodkas.

Cucumber Lime brings consumers a crisp, refreshing palate combining zesty citrus and cool cucumber flavors, the company says.

“Svedka continues its leadership within the flavored vodka category, and the launch of Svedka Cucumber Lime further elevates our portfolio by introducing an in-demand flavor profile ahead of the curve,” said Diana Pawlik, Svedka vodka’s vice President of marketing, in a statement. “Svedka Cucumber Lime addresses consumers’ thirst for cool, crisp, and refreshing tastes.”

Svedka Cucumber Lime builds on the momentum within the food and beverage spaces for refreshing, bright flavors, as seen with the surge in popularity of crisp cocktails like the Moscow Mule and Gin and Tonic, according to the company. Svedka Cucumber Lime also capitalizes on trends within Asian and Mexican cuisine, which have exploded in popularity among consumers looking to pair the distinct tastes of cucumber and lime, it adds.

Svedka Cucumber Lime, available nationwide beginning in February, will be packaged in 50-ml, 375-ml, 750-ml, 1-liter and 1.75-liter bottles. A 750-ml has a suggested retail price of $12.99.
