Heineken launches #SparkMyParty contest
Consumers can tweet the import beer company to win party plus-up service
This holiday season, White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA is offering consumers of legal drinking age the ability to enhance their parties and get-togethers with the Heineken beer brand. The brand’s #SparkMyParty holiday delivery service will bring holiday plus-ups right to consumers’ doorsteps, the company says.
Starting Dec. 4, consumers of legal drinking age can tweet @Heineken_US using the hashtag #SparkMyParty to enter for a chance to receive a special party plus-up delivery. On Dec. 5 and 6, Heineken's #SparkMyParty service will arrive at the residences of four New York City-based winners with real-time party plus-ups. In addition to music, treats and decor, the New York-based winners will receive an added spark, such as a live DJ for their party, a roomful of balloons, a New York event photographer, and/or Uber gift cards to transport all guests home safely.
"We understand how important this season is to Heineken drinkers, and we want to make their celebrations memorable," said Ralph Rijks, vice president of Heineken N.V., in a statement. "Through the #SparkMyParty service, Heineken will enhance holiday festivities with unexpected surprises that turn even the best holiday moments into epic, celebratory affairs."
People across the country also can join in on the holiday action and have a chance to win their own #SparkMyParty experience complete with a package bearing all the same festive items as the New York City winners received.
In addition, through the brand's partnership with lifestyle media company UrbanDaddy, winners in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Houston, Philadelphia and Boston, will have the chance to win an assortment of holiday sparks ranging from a holiday sous chef and New Year's Day brunch to Uber and Perk gift cards.
#SparkMyParty is an extension of Heineken's global campaign, Spark Your Holidays, which launched Nov. 10 with a new TV commercial, "Imagine," and will continue throughout the holiday season with seasonal packaging, on- and off-premise promotions, national social and digital media, coupons and savings, and Holiday "spark" content on www.heineken.com.
