Ciroc, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs launch pineapple-flavored vodka
Diageo brand named Official Toast of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Sean "Diddy" Combs and the makers of Ciroc Ultra Premium vodka announced the newest addition to its flavor portfolio — Ciroc Pineapple infused vodka. The new vodka offers a rich pineapple flavor with a touch of vanilla and a tropical finish, according to Diageo, the brand’s Norwalk, Conn.-based parent company.
"We set the standard for ultra-premium vodka with our previous flavors, consistently taking the No. 1 spot for vodka innovations,” Combs said in a statement. “We've done it again with Ciroc Pineapple. Our infused vodka flavors are consistently innovative and versatile. They are great for making delicious cocktails and smooth enough to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks."
To celebrate the new flavor launch, the brand has been named the Official Toast of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2015 Spring/Summer Collections, which is scheduled to take place through Sept. 11. Beginning this month, consumers can enjoy Ciroc Pineapple at top restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the United States, according to the brand.
Also, to build upon its “endless summer” positioning, Ciroc invites consumers to plunge into the “ultra premium world of tropical luxury” with an integrated marketing campaign anchored by the Ciroc Pineapple school of mixology; regional Ciroc Pineapple preview dinners; as well as national print, digital and other experiential activities.
"Ciroc Pineapple encourages fans of the brand to live in a summer state of mind and experience the luxury of the tropics with every sip," Combs said in a statement.
Ciroc Pineapple contains 35 percent alcohol by volume and is available in 50-ml, 200-ml, 375-ml, 750-ml, 1-liter and 1.75-liter sizes. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $34.99.
