LGJ LLC launched a line of Lo Real Fruit Blend Beverages that are sweetened with agave nectar and stevia, resulting in a low glycemic index, based on clinical tests performed by the Glycemic Index Laboratories, the company explains. Available in Pomegranate, Mango Mojito, Pomegranate Mojito and Acai-Blue varieties, the drinks feature a blend of juice concentrates with the same calorie, carbohydrate and sugar content as an average whole fruit, the company says. In particular, the beverages contain between 30 and 45 calories, 8 and 11 grams of carbohydrates, and 7 and 10 grams of sugar. Additionally, the beverages are vegan, kosher and gluten free and also contain a majority of organic ingredients. A four-pack of 10-ounce bottles retails for approximately $11.99.
