Today, Beachwood Brewing will release its Mocha Machine Imperial Coffee Chocolate Porter at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach, Calif., and Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, Calif., in 22-ounce bottles and on draft. The beer is brewed with British and German malts and infused with roasted coffee from Portola Coffee Lab in Costa Mesa, Calif., before being aged in cacao nibs from Ecuador. Containing 9.2 percent alcohol by volume, a 22-ounce bottle will retail for approximately $12. The beer will expand into craft beer retailers in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties shortly after its initial launch, the company says.
