In honor of San Diego’s O’Brien’s Pub celebrating 20 years of serving craft beer, Beachwood Brewing released its limited-edition Pride of cHops India Pale Ale. The beer is hopped with a blend of Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops and contains 7.1 percent alcohol by volume. The label features the profile and sideburn “chops” of O’Brien’s owner Tom Nickel and also is named after the pub’s lion. A 22-ounce bottle retails for approximately $8. Pride of cHops also is available on draft at Beachwood Brewing’s locations in Seal Beach and Long Beach, Calif., as well as at O’Brien’s Pub.
