Trinchero Family Estates introduced the first new product innovation line in its Trinchero National Spirits division: Sugar Island Coconut and Spiced Rums. Both rums are made from Caribbean sugar cane. Sugar Island Coconut Rum features natural coconut flavors and contains 21 percent alcohol by volume, whereas Sugar Island Spiced rum features spices and natural flavors and contains 46 percent alcohol by volume. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $18.99.
