Drink Chia grows its packages

April 15, 2013

In an effort to offer greater value to consumers, Drink Chia LLC increased the package size of its same-named omega-3 superfood drink from 8 to 10 ounces. TheDrink Chia change will be applied to all four varieties — Strawberry Citrus, Honeysuckle Pear, Mango Tangerine and “B Meyer” Lemon — at no additional cost to the consumer with products maintaining their suggested retail price at $3.49 a bottle. The larger bottle size also means enhanced health benefits, the company says. A 10-ounce serving contains 50 calories and 5 grams of sugar as well as 1,100 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. “We listened to our fans when they said they wanted more of Drink Chia,” said Drink Chia Co-Founder Chandra Davis in a statement. “The larger bottle size provides more of the nutritional benefits of the chia seeds while keeping the calories and sugar extremely low.”

  • Container and Packaging

Container and Packaging has yet to win any awards for creativity in naming, but that’s kind of the point. For over 40 years, Container and Packaging has given startups and household names a reliable source of glass, plastic, and metal packaging. Container and Packaging is resourceful when things get weird, reliable when things get urgent, and refreshingly un-corporate in how it’s done. Beyond the adjectives, Container and Packaging backs up the talk with one of the largest in-stock selections of containers in the U.S., faster than industry norm shipping, and actual humans ready and eager to talk packaging shop. Packaging is more than supply chain and shelves, it’s about good ideas, and the people behind them. And good ideas need good packaging.
