Beam Inc., the owner of Kilbeggan Distillery in Westmeath, Ireland, invested in marketing support and infrastructure updates to the whiskey landmark to help promote it as a tourism destination. The company invested $90,000 to restore the distillery’s ancient, iconic waterwheel and had its bar license extended so that it could sell its Irish whiskey in the distillery’s gift shop, it says.
