Beverage-makers are taking that proactive approach with their packaging to engage with consumers. With Beverage Industry’s annual Best Packages of Year feature, the editors have selected a collection of packaging releases that address the demands and needs of today’s consumers.
Sustainability is the No. 1 attribute of this year’s top packaging designs. Artistic collaborations also are helping brands stand out on store shelves.
For Beverage Industry’s annual Best Packages poll, the publication’s editors nominated five packaging initiatives that addressed sustainable packaging.
For many years, the editors of Beverage Industry have honored beverage manufacturers who find unique ways to tell the story of their brand through innovative designs and packaging that stand out. This year is no exception, as the editors examined this year’s expansive list of new products and packaging redesigns and whittled the list to the Top 5 packages from 2018.
Packaging allows brands to communicate with consumers before they even drink a product. When considering the increasing number of SKUs on retail shelves, having an appealing package is a crucial element to consider for new products as well as existing products’ package redesigns.
The editors of Beverage Industry selected the Top 10 packages released in 2015. These 10 were then put to a vote by you, the readers. Check out which packages emerged as the Best of 2015.
Brands on the shelf are allotted only a short period of time to grab shoppers’ attention and convince them to purchase the product. Most purchase decisions are made in a split second, according to Tobii Technology, Danderyd, Sweden.
