For the second year, Xyience, a brand of Austin, Texas-based Big Red Inc., announced that it is teaming up with Campus Insiders, a digital destination and content source for college sports fans, to produce a new series hosted by veteran sports journalist Seth Davis, titled “Don’t Mess with Seth.” In addition, the brand is sponsoring a national sweepstakes that will send one fan and a guest on a VIP Experience to the 2017 national college basketball championship weekend in Phoenix, the company says.

Big Red Inc., Austin, Texas, teamed up with the NBA's Matt Bonner for a limited-edition 2-liter bottle of its same-named red soda brand to commemorate Bonner’s 10 year professional basketball career in San Antonio. Bonner is one of only six players to join the team's exclusive 10 year club.

San Antonio Spurs’ Matt Bonner named brand’s new ambassador

Austin, Texas-based Big Red Inc. signed San Antonio Spurs Forward-Center Matt Bonner as its newest brand ambassador. Nicknamed “The Red Mamba,” Bonner will appear on Big Red soda displays at hundreds of stores across central and south Texas beginning this month. Next spring, the brand also plans to host a text-to-win sweepstakes through which fans can win Bonner’s autographed Spurs jersey.
Honey Lemonade and Mango Peach varieties join portfolio

Hydrive Energy Water, a brand of Austin, Texas-based Big Red Inc., launched two new flavors: Honey Lemonade and Mango Peach. Each of the new flavors contains energy-boosting caffeine, enhanced nutritive formulas, and 30 calories in each bottle, the company says.
Spoof video presents packaging technology for backwash prevention

Austin, Texas-based Big Red Inc.’s Big Red soda brand plans to educate consumers about the “issue” of backwashing with National Backwash Prevention Day on Nov. 1. According to the brand, an estimated 99.99 percent of Americans have unknowingly fallen victim to their favorite beverages being contaminated by backwash.
