Hard ciders were popular in the United Kingdom for years before reaching the mainstream U.S. market. Many trends are born overseas and eventually make their way to the U.S. market. But that doesn’t mean Americans can’t be trendsetters too.

Epicurex LLC, North Miami Beach, Fla., has joined forces with Hialeah, Fla.-based Sedano’s Supermarkets to retail its Cocozia 100 percent organic coconut water. Sedano’s Supermarkets is expected to sell the entire Cocozia lineup, including original, coffee, pineapple, mango and chocolate varieties, at its 34 stores in Florida.
Pulse Beverage Corp. expanded its Natural Cabana brand from lemonade to coconut water with the introduction of Natural Cabana Coconut Water and Pineapple Coconut Water.
