Deschutes Brewery added Twilight Ale, a limited-edition summer seasonal ale. Twilight Ale is straw-colored and a blend of four hops and malts, including Cara-Pils, Carastan malts and Cascade, Amarillo and Tettnang hops. The ale is available on draft and in six- and 12-packs across the western United States. A 12-ounce bottle contains 5 percent alcohol by volume.

The flavors join Peach Mango, Citrus, Blueberry Pomegranate and Cherry Acai varieties. All flavors provide two servings of fruit and one gram of fiber. Kellogg Co. introduced Kellogg’s Special K Protein Shakes, which contain protein and fiber in a resealable plastic bottle. The shakes are available in Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla and Strawberry flavors. Each variety contains 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of soluble fiber polydextrose. Strawberry and French Vanilla contain 180 calories and Milk Chocolate has 190 calories. A four-pack retails for $6.29.
