PepsiCo’s new premium bottled water brand LIFEWTR partnered with traveling night club, Club Nomadic, for Super Bowl 2017. On Feb. 3, during Super Bowl Week in Houston, the brand hosted “Art After Dark,” an entertainment experience fusing music, technology and art, the company says.
Although I regularly use Facebook, like many baby boomers, I am not currently immersed in Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms that increasingly are being used by beverage companies to communicate and connect with consumers in real time.
It’s an exciting time for those who love technology. As new advancements are released, it’s also exciting to see how they are impacting marketing. Alcohol and non-alcohol brands, alike, have been utilizing various digital platforms to educate, communicate and market to consumers. Recently, one particular effort caught my eye.

Dunkin' Donuts fans now can access the Dunkin' Mobile App through the App Store for iMessage to deliver mobile Dunkin' Donuts gift cards to friends, family and colleagues as quickly and simply as sending an emoji, it says.
