With an increased emphasis on health and wellness, the vibe in the beverage industry also speaks to the importance of “changing it up” by manufacturing products with functional ingredients, including the immune-boosting power of antioxidants.

Portfolio of frozen aguas frescas named Sarah’s Homegrown

Frey Farms, Keenes, Ill., announced a brand new line of frozen aquas frescas. Sarah’s Homegrown, named after Sarah Frey, the founder, farmer and chief executive officer of Frey Farms, are made with real fruit and all-natural ingredients, the company says.
The market research firm reported in its 2018 Beverage Consumer Trend Report that more consumers today than two years ago indicate that non-alcohol beverages are “very important” when deciding where to dine.
