Strongbow Hard Ciders, a brand of White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA Inc., announced the launch of 100-calorie, 8.5-ounce slim cans in a 12-can variety pack with three flavor varietals. Available beginning January 2019, the Strongbow 100-calorie slim cans are positioned at the intersection of hard cider, canned wine and hard seltzer to offer alternative refreshment, the company says.
The new can design draws inspiration from classic S.Pellegrino bottles, including the brand’s green hue and red star, all overlaid on metallic silver, the company says.

DRY Soda Co. unveiled its Ginger DRY Sparkling flavor in easily transportable 12-ounce aluminum cans at the 2017 Winter Fancy Food Show. Ginger DRY Sparkling in 12-ounce aluminum cans and four-packs will be available beginning this month at select Kroger and Safeway stores nationwide with a suggested retail price of $5.99.
Heineken debuted a 250-ml slim can in Brazil in partnership with Crown Embalagens Metálicas da Amazônia S.A., a joint venture of Crown Holdings Inc. and Évora S.A, marking the first time Crown’s 250-ml slim can was made available in the Americas, the company says.
Sipp Eco Beverage Co. LLC launched Sipp Sparkling Organics in 10.5-ounce slim cans. The cans will be sold in cases of 12 and in singles. The suggested retail price for a single can is $1.49.
