Children’s water line available in 4 fruit flavors

San Francisco-based hint Inc. announced its new hint water for kids. Available in four fruit flavors — Watermelon, Cherry, Blackberry and Apple — the new line is packaged in 200-ml Tetra cartons. Hint waters are non-GMO certified and WHOLE30 approved. They are vegan, and contain no MSG, nuts, soy or gluten. Like all hint waters, the kids’ version is free from juice, sugar, diet sweeteners, colors, calories and preservatives, the company says.
Emerging food and beverage brands to participate in optimization program

PepsiCo Inc., Purchase, N.Y., announced the 10 emerging food and beverage brands that will join its first collaborative accelerator program in North America. Each of the 10 participating startups will receive $20,000 in grant funding and participate in a six-month business optimization program. The Nutrition Greenhouse program is designed to accelerate the growth of these startups with personalized mentorship from experts at some of PepsiCo's leading and emerging brands.
Little Villager available in three kid-friendly flavors

New York-based Vita Coco launched Vita Coco Kids, a new line of coconut water beverages formulated especially for children between the ages of 2 and 8. The new beverages will be available in Apple Island, Paradise Punch and Very Cherry Beach flavors.
When it comes to children’s nutrition, parents are faced with the challenge of finding products that meet their nutritional preferences, but also appeal to their children. But the challenge extends beyond parents and begins with the manufacturers. Beverage-makers are tasked with developing products to help bridge the gap between nutritional demands and pleasing taste profiles.
American Beverage Corp. and The Biondo Group collaborated to redesign the packaging for Little Hug Fruit Barrels. The brand identity and package design firm stated that the Little Hug packaging incorporates water and fruit imagery to articulate strong flavor, refreshment and energy cues. The new brand mark incorporates the barrel-shaped bottle as a discrete icon and the name Fruit Barrels, according to The Biondo Group.
