Kendall Jackson announced the launch of its first-ever sparkling wine with the debut of Vintner’s Reserve Brut Cuvée. 

Crafted using the Charmat Method, this Brut Cuvée is composed of 100% California-sourced French Colombard, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and sits at 11% ABV, the company notes. This release marks a natural evolution for the Vintner’s Reserve collection, designed to meet the growing consumer appetite for approachable, high-quality sparkling wines from trusted brands, it says.

“This is a milestone moment for Kendall Jackson,” said Head Winemaker Kris Kato in a statement. “For decades, we’ve built our reputation on quality-driven, expressive and balanced wines that reflect the best of California’s coastal terroirs at scale. With Vintner’s Reserve Brut Cuvée, we’re bringing that same dedication to quality and craftsmanship to the growing sparkling wine category.”

Kendall Jackson’s expansion into sparkling wine arrives at a moment of strong momentum for the category. Sparkling wine is now the fastest-growing segment in the U.S. wine market. Over the past five years, nearly 10 million new consumers have entered the category, with sparkling now accounting for more than 12% of total U.S. wine volume, up from just 8% in 2017. While the holiday season still accounts for about 20% of annual sparkling consumption, demand is increasingly driven by year-round occasions.

Brut-style wines like Kendall Jackson’s newest release are well positioned to meet this demand — the $15-$25 price point has emerged as a sweet spot for value-premium offerings, where consumers seek both quality and affordability, the company notes. The Vintner’s Reserve Brut Cuvée offers a lively, fruit-forward expression that aligns with contemporary tastes while upholding the signature balance and elegance that has made Kendall-Jackson a household name, it says.

Kendall-Jackson’s Vintner’s Reserve Brut Cuvée is available for purchase in stores and online nationwide for a suggested retail price of $20 a bottle.
