BeerBoard announces partnership with Molson Coors for on-premise insights

Molson Coors to receive BeerBoard’s proprietary data and analytics

Syracuse, N.Y.-based BeerBoard, a leader in technology, insights and automated intelligence for the on-premise hospitality industry, announced it has partnered with Chicago-based Molson Coors Beverage Co., to provide insights and data for on-premise retail locations.

For more than two centuries Molson Coors has been brewing beverages that unite people to celebrate all of life’s moments and produces many beloved and iconic brands, the company says. While the company’s history is rooted in beer, Molson Coors offers a modern portfolio that expands beyond the beer aisle as well, it adds.

Through the partnership, Molson Coors will receive BeerBoard’s proprietary data and analytics for on-premise retail locations, driven by a customized reporting platform. Molson Coors will have access to product visibility and movement across the full liquor, beer and wine (LBW), it says. Reporting features include actionable insights, tap/share distribution, packaged product sales, brewery snapshots and market trends and rank.

In addition, Molson Coors will continue introducing BeerBoard’s SmartOrders technology to its many partners, according to the company.

SmartOrders digitizes many of the interactions between retailers, distributors and suppliers. It is designed to be utilized by retailers and distributors of every size and consolidates ordering and inventory for liquor, beer and wine, while improving full bar operations.

“By partnering with BeerBoard, Molson Coors is demonstrating its understanding of the technology landscape across all tiers,” said Jim Randall, vice president of strategic development for BeerBoard, in a statement. “BeerBoard remains committed to a three-tier friendly approach, which will ultimately help retailers, distributors and suppliers make more profitable decisions.”

Chris Gick, vice president of sales, national accounts for Molson Coors, added: “Our partnership with BeerBoard provides Molson Coors Beverage Co. with real-time analytics and insights, allowing our team to make the most efficient and effective assortment and promotional recommendations. BeerBoard is a great resource our team will leverage to help retailers grow the size and value of their beverage category.”

BeerBoard’s robust client list features high-profile independent groups and major chain operators across North America. Retailers include industry leaders Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, Twin Peaks, WingHouse, Mellow Mushroom and TGI Fridays. BeerBoard also partners with major brewers including Boston Beer, Constellation Brands, Lagunitas, Heineken, Diageo and Yuengling.
