Prestige Beverage Group released a Sparkling Rosé and Sparkling Red Moscato to its Astoria line of Italian wines. Combining Rosé wine with the sparkling segment, Astoria Sparkling Rosé is pink in color with continuous bubbles and aromas of fresh raspberry and strawberry with white floral notes, the company says. The varietal is made up of 85 percent Glera and 15 percent Pinot Noir with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 11 percent. The new Sparkling Rosé is available in single-serve 187- and 750-ml bottles for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $5.99 and $14.99, respectively. Astoria Sparkling Red Moscato is a premium sparkling option in a diamond-cut bottle. The new Sparkling Red Moscato combines soft, ruby-colored bubbles with the fragrance of strawberries and sage, the company says. The varietal consists of 85 percent Moscato and 15 percent Malvasia Rosso with an ABV of 7 percent. The new sparkling red Moscato is available in 750-ml bottles for an SRP of $14.99.
