Koia announced the launch of Koia Coffee, a coffee line featuring plant-based protein, MCT oil, coconut milk and zero sugar. A vailable in three flavors — Vanilla Latte, Mocha Latte and Salted Caramel — each variety is made with organic, fair trade coffee, and is infused with 9 grams of plant-based protein derived from a proprietary blend of brown rice, pea and chickpea. The product contains C8 MCT oil, a high-quality MCT oil, and coconut milk to deliver healthy fats and aid with cognitive enhancement, sharpened focus and sustained energy, the company says. Packaged in 12-ounce bottles, Koia Coffee contains 200 mg of caffeine, 5 grams C8 MCT oil, 9 grams protein and 110 calories. Koia Coffee is available starting Jan. 1 at Whole Foods Market and at DrinkKoia.com for a suggested retail price of $3.99. Additional distribution will be announced in the coming weeks, the company adds.
