Angel’s Envy, an entity of Bacardi USA Inc., announced the limited-edition release of Angel’s Envy 2019 Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels. Just more than 14,000 bottles of the 122.4-proof/61.2 percent alcohol-by-volume (ABV) special release will be available in select U.S. markets beginning Nov. 1. Angel’s Envy 2019 Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels offers notes of honey, apple, butterscotch, toffee and mellow vanilla, as well as hints of oak and toast, the company says. On the nose, notes of honeyed apple, peach, apricot and overripe banana are present, along with black tea, toasted oak with a slight char and faint floral notes, it add. The limited-release bourbon is available in select market for a suggested retail price of $199.99.
