AlliedFlex Technologies Inc. offers the new FLX MonoSpout pouch filling and capping machine for filling liquids in pre-made spouted standup pouches. The compact, economical and simple-to-operate machine is 100 percent servo controlled and is ideal for pilot plants to establish filling characteristics, test market samples and in-plant production runs, the company says. Built to USDA washdown sanitary standards, the FLX MonoSpout can fill and cap flexible pouches with liquid and semi-liquid products as well as viscous products containing soft particulates or pulp. Suitable for hot-filling products at 100-degrees Celsius, the machine can accommodate a fill volume from 100-ml up to 1-liter with pre-applied top or corner spout with carrier slot. Product output is 30 to 50 pouches per minute based upon a 200-ml fill volume, the company says.
