PDC introduces its newest shrink labeler
Labeling machine accommodates diverse product shapes, gauges
PDC International Corp. introduced the R-100, its latest shrink labeler for applying shrink sleeves at moderate speed applications as fast as 120 containers a minute. Part of the Evolution Series, the R-100 is an economical, compact system that is flexible enough for diverse product shapes. The machine can apply oriented graphics onto non-round containers such as ovals and squares and has the ability to run thin films, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), oriented polystyrene (OPS) and polylactic acid (PLA) labels in gauges as thin as 30 micron. In addition, the R-100 can run tamper-evident labels with horizontal and partial vertical perforation, as well as twin packing, and uses PDC’s patented micro-perforation and separation cutting technology. PDC labelers accommodate a wide range of sleeving and labeling materials and can integrate shrink tunnels, conveyors and coding systems into a complete sleeving system.
