Cline Family Cellars released Cashmere Black Magic nationwide. The 15 percent alcohol-by-volume red blend combines Mourvedere, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouchet and Grenache varietals. It also offers notes of dark berries and chocolate with hints of black pepper and plum, the company says. The grapes were pressed at dryness, then settled for 10 days and racked to 30 percent new French oak barrels with dark toast level for 12 months, it adds. Cashmere Black Magic is available nationwide packaged in 750-bottles that have a suggested retail price of $25.
