In keeping with its focus on product innovation, Vermont Hard Cider Co.’s Woodchuck Hard Cider released Campfire Pancakes, the seventh installment in its Out on a Limb series. Campfire Pancakes embodies the Vermont spring season, the company says. With an infusion of smoked apple pomace and maple syrup, the small-batch hard cider brings forward a smoky and sweet taste, it adds. Both Vermont-made ingredients, the pomace is sourced from Vermont Smoke & Cure and the syrup from a local sugarhouse. At 5.5 percent alcohol by volume, Campfire Pancakes has a suggested retail price of $10.99 for a six-pack. Campfire Pancakes is available in limited quantities nationwide through April.
