Evans Brewing Co. released four new bottled beers that will constitute the core of its initial year-round packaged offerings. Pollen Nation Honey Brown ale, The KrHoPen India Pale Ale, Oaklore Brown Ale and ChocoLatte Chocolate Porter each feature hand-drawn artwork on the 22-ounce bottles that retail for $3.99 each. At 5.2 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), Pollen Nation is a clean, sessionable blonde ale offering notes of orange blossom honey, and at 6 percent ABV The KrHoPen offers tastes of Nugget and Apollo hops with hints of caramel and a biscuit body for a smooth finish, the company says. Additionally, Oaklore is a malt-forward 6 percent ABV brown ale that offers a silky caramel smoothness with hints of vanilla and chocolate, while ChocoLatte is a 6.8 percent ABV porter with a full body that has a strong chocolate flavor with a hint of coffee.
