Manufacturers and suppliers to the craft brewing industry are heading to Portland, Ore., for the 32nd Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America (CBC). Taking place April 14-17 at the Oregon Convention Center, the annual event is hosted by the Brewers Association, Boulder, Colo., and will welcome an estimated 11,000 attendees.

The 2015 BrewExpo America tradeshow has been extended to two and half days, taking place April 15-17. The keynote address and general session will begin at 9:15 a.m. on April 15.

More than 575 exhibiting companies and more than 160 presenters will be on hand to address a wide range of topics in the educational tracks of brewery operations, brewpubs, export development, government affairs, packaging breweries, quality, safety, selling craft beer, start-ups, sustainability and technical brewing. Those interested in attending sessions can download a conference seminar schedule in advance of the show at www.craftbrewersconference.com.

Attendees also can register to attend the Craft Beer Wholesalers Symposiums, which are taking place April 13 and 14. The symposiums require separate registration and will cover topics such as supplier-distributor interaction, logistics and warehouse, staff and business issues, information technology, sales strategy and sales teams. Attendance is limited to licensed beer wholesalers who distribute brands from more than one company. Proof of a distributor’s license is required for eligibility.

Attendees also can register separately for the Mico Matic Draft Dispense Course. The seminar will discuss the basics of equipment used through the system design and installation processes as well as how to maintain a beer-dispensing system after installation. The course will take place April 14 and has a limited capacity.

The association also has designed CBC 2015 Mobile, a mobile app that contains information relating to exhibitors, conference seminars, special events and floor plans. The app is available for Apple, Android, Blackberry and other devices.
